"It would be the ultimate disservice to the future generations born on the surfaces of Humanity’s new worlds to not address the issues of sexuality and reproduction in space environments, and go forward without first fully arming ourselves with the necessary knowledge to give them the best chance to grow into healthy, fully physically and mentally capable human adults, as we ourselves have

been afforded here on Earth.

It is upon our shoulders that they must stand in order to truly slip the bonds of Earth, the cradle of our existence, much as a child might be lifted by a parent in order to reach the branch of a tree,

and pull themselves up.”
